Welcome to my world! Let me introduce myself and explain this site.

My name is Lori, and I'm an addict. I'm addicted to fixing, restoring, repairing and saving what could be good items from the trash. My family has grown tired of me doing this to our house, (not that our house is trash!)so we got a popup camper in need of repair. Greg the previous owner rescued Tinkerpup from the woods. Tinkerpup had been used for a "deer lodge" and was in serious need of being rescued. He started the repairs but had to put Tinkerpup up for sale before he could finish the work or use it. (I've offered to let him and his son take it camping when I get it finished.) So I got it. Originally Charley (my daughter) wanted it, but she wanted a minivan, so I told her I would cover the cost of the camper repairs and she could get the minivan. The minivan will be our TV (tow vehicle). 

Now you know about me, let me explain what this site it. It is here that I will take all my knowledge of building and repairing and document the restoration of Tinkerpup. There have been several messages boards that have been extrodinary in their help and advice. I'll be posting links to all of them soon. Thanks Julie for the key! I can now get in the popup. I've learned a lot of useful information from hanging out over there. My hope is that they don't get tired of my silly questions and run me off!

My first project will be to fix the leak in the roof. Thats a major project. There is damage throughout the camper from this leak. So if you look at the menu of the site, you will see the different areas that I'm working on.
